At Upscale Design Institute, we provide digital products, downloadable design files, online learning material, and design-related services. Please read our Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Digital Product Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital products, once a product has been purchased and delivered, downloaded, accessed, or made available to the customer, it is generally non-refundable.
Digital products may include:
- Downloadable design files
- Embroidery design files
- Print-ready files
- Course material
- PDF files
- Digital templates
- Online learning resources
- Any other downloadable or electronically delivered content
2. Refund Eligibility
A refund may be considered only in the following cases:
- Duplicate payment for the same order
- Payment deducted but order not confirmed
- Wrong file delivered by us
- File is corrupted and we are unable to provide a working replacement
- Product access not provided due to a technical issue from our side
3. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Customer purchased the wrong product
- Customer changed their mind after purchase
- Customer does not have required software to open/use the file
- Customer expected a different format not mentioned on the product page
- Product has already been downloaded or accessed
- Customer provided incorrect email address or contact details
- Customer failed to read product description before purchase
4. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, please contact us within 3 days of purchase with the following details:
- Full name
- Order ID
- Payment ID or transaction reference
- Registered email address
- Reason for refund request
- Screenshot or proof of issue, if applicable

5. Refund Approval
All refund requests will be reviewed by our team. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method used during purchase.
6. Refund Timeline
Once approved, refunds may take 7–10 business days to reflect in the customer’s bank account, card, UPI, or wallet, depending on the payment gateway and bank processing timelines. Razorpay’s dispute guidance also advises customers to allow 7–10 business days for refunds in relevant cases.
7. Replacement Instead of Refund
In case of technical issues, corrupted files, or wrong file delivery, we may first provide a replacement file or corrected access instead of issuing a refund.
